Prabhupāda: [leads singing of Jaya Rādhā-Mādhava] [prema-dhvani] [14:13] [break] ...for your kindly participating in this Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement. Just now our guest, today's guest, was speaking about pāpa and puṇya. The Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement is transcendental of pāpa and puṇya. Pāpa means sinful activities and puṇya means pious activities.

Both activities are causes for bondage. That is stated in the Bhagavad-gītā: yajñārthāt karmaṇo 'nyatra loko 'yaṁ karma-bandhanaḥ [Bg. 3.9] Yajñārthe. Yajñā means Viṣṇu, yajña-puruṣa. Simply for Viṣṇu or Kṛṣṇa.

Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Lord of viṣṇu-tattva. There are different tattvas: viṣṇu-tattva, sakti-tattva. So we have to understand tattva. So Viṣṇu, Viṣṇu is the Supreme Lord, tad viṣṇoḥ paramaṁ padaṁ sadā paśyanti sūrayaḥ [Ṛg Veda 1.22.20]. That is the Ṛg Veda mantra.
