Marriage is not a joke. Govinda dāsī: In this country it is such a joke that it is hard for them to understand. Prabhupāda: Yes. [break]... Of marriage, there must be some struggle, but the marriage is required. They have introduced new [indistinct]. Govinda dāsī: We have never had a single marriage in Hawaii. Prabhupāda: Huh? Govinda dāsī: We have never had a single marriage in Hawaii, although we have been here two and a half years. Prabhupāda: Why? Govinda dāsī: I guess because… [laughs] I don't know. No one wants to get married.
